San Jose Adult Entertainment: Our Halloween, their Day of the Dead; Mexican memorabilia connects Vancouver …

In the state of Morelos, where she grew up, Day of the Dead is an annual fiesta during which departed loved ones are celebrated and honoured publically and privately.
In the homes, no expense is spared on altars, which are “unbelievably ornate with candles, flowers, pictures, paintings and the figurines.” (MacKay doesn’t adorn her altar with her collection.)
The most famous collectible is probably La Catrina, says MacKay. Also referred to as la Flaca, la Huesuda, la Pelona — Fancy Lady, Skinny, Bony, Baldy — she is a permanent fixture in Mexican society, and increasingly in North America. Yet she is far from being some trendy fashion model; rather, she is La Muerte: Death.
The famed mythical figure — first created by renowned artist José Guadalupe Posada — has been formed out of wood or clay, and depicted as a doctor, judge, teacher, tennis player, prostitute. In fact, every conceivable profession and pastime can be caricatured.

San Jose Adult Entertainment: An unlikely duet

… “Nobody responded the way they did to this first story about Nathaniel,” Lopez said. “They saw this as a ‘there but for the grace of God’ story … People believe in second chances and they think this might be his.”
Readers felt invested in Ayers’s life and the possibility of treatment. Instruments became a frequent delivery to Lopez’s office.
“People had gone into closets, spare bedrooms, attics, dusted off instruments because they wanted Nathaniel Anthony Ayers to get a second chance … They sent those two missing strings.”
Lopez, too, became invested in trying to help Ayers. He spent a night with him on Skid Row, a dumping ground for Los Angeles’s homeless, littered with abandoned war veterans, people in wheelchairs, drug gangs and prostitutes living and working in Porta-Potties.

San Jose Escorts: THURSDAY MORNING NEWS ROUNDUP

The club had agreed in March to the injunction, which required the
club not to operate after 2 a.m., not to allow excessive noise in the
neighborhood, and to cease acts of prostitution, drug and alcohol violations,
and violent behavior at the club.
However, the venue required more than 230 service calls to the San
Francisco Police Department in the past six months, including a June 27
shooting outside of the club that left 30-year-old Harris Fulbright dead,
according to the city attorney’s office.

A judge in August separately granted a motion by Herrera to close
down a North Beach strip club, Heaven Mini Theatre, for violating city codes.
That club had been cited by police for prostitution and implicated in the
non-fatal shooting of two doormen at a nearby strip club.

San Jose Adult Entertainment: People v. Nuccio, Inc.

On October 5, 2007, defendant again moved to compel discovery about Sprinkle’s criminal record. Also that day, defendant moved to be allowed to introduce third party culpability evidence, making the following offer of proof: The day after the murder, an unknown man told a detective that the victim was last seen getting into a white Ford Bronco, and handed the detective a paper with the license plate number “4PMZ262.” That day a police officer saw a “tall white male, balding on top,” driving that Bronco, and it was found to be registered to Sprinkle. Sprinkle, a parolee, was arrested in Calaveras County the next day, while driving that Bronco. Sprinkle told the police that he had not been to Stockton for several months, but when told he had been seen there the day before by an officer, admitted he had lied. San Jose Escorts: So Long Nipples, This Time You Won’t Be Missed

It’s still my favourite Apple mouse ever. It was sleek, all in black, with two layers of polycarbonate: One transparent outside, the other translucent black inside. It felt like it was made out of mercury, with its circuitry glowing in red because of its laser. Like the Apple Magic Mouse, it also clicked, with a crunchabolous clickity-clack noise more satisfying than biting a five-Pringles stack.
Sure, it only had one button. I didn’t care. I would rather have one button that works every single time, than two fake buttons that work so-so, two side-buttons that I had to deactivate because they were driving me crazy, and a nipple that gets dirty quicker than a Bangkok brothel, and stops working whenever it wants. That’s the Apple Mighty Mouse. One lousy mouse that will not be missed.

San Jose Escorts: Ads on Your Desktop — Windows 7-Sponsored Themes

It is official the Windows 7 launch day, in case you were wondering why you’re seeing Windows 7 news all over the web. We’re doing our part in scouring out the little-known facts about the new version of Windows. One thing I’ve not seen anywhere that is a pretty shrewd move on the part of Microsoft is the release of sponsored themes for Windows 7. Companies are apparently paying Microsoft to host themes that pimp their products, and the themes are available for free download by Windows 7 users.
This is a clever idea that makes you wonder what took so long to appear. There are already quite a few of the themes available for download, and since they are free to the end user, you can bet there will be a lot of them grabbed by users. You have to wonder how much Microsoft is charging companies to submit a theme to the gallery. These companies should realize that just because users download the themes, it doesn’t mean they actually use it on their desktop. Or is that being recorded somewhere?
