San Jose Strip Clubs: Google We Like Our Privacy Didn’t Realize You Did Too

360 people have read this story
Google bosses may not be particularly concerned about protecting privacy—except when it comes to stripper parties hosted by a top engineer. Online party pics were strictly verboten by engineer Orkut Büyükkökten, who hosted male and female strippers at a billionaire-studded fete in his San Francisco penthouse that included Google co-founder Sergey Brin, reports Gawker. Oops but your privacy not so much…
Here is the Google story…
Google privacy counsel Mike Yang — privacy counsel are in-house Google attorneys who consult on privacy issues during product development — and Google’s head privacy engineer Alma Whitten were present. Yang described a process in which privacy counsel get involved “fairly early” in product development to flag potential issues and concerns. He said that this process has been in place at Google for “at least five years.” The process sounded to me pretty coherent and thoughtful. How then, in the words of one of the reporters present, did “Google get it so wrong with Buzz.”

San Jose Strip Clubs: Cops work to keep tabs on sex offenders

During 290 sweeps, said Wylie, “Our goal is to find people who are violating … requirements.”
Wylie said Mountain View police, and sometimes county authorities, will target registrants who are new to the city, on parole or probation, or who are seemingly at higher risk for a repeat offense.
She said those on parole or probation are subject to search, so officers will look through residences to ensure the registrant is actually living where he says. They search for tooth brushes or extra sets of clothing, for example.
“What sex offenders try to do is they’ll give us a false address for their registration,” she said. “They try to get us to not monitor them.”
Many are not allowed to have alcohol or pornography of any kind, due to parole or probation requirements. Some are restricted from visiting adult shops or strip clubs.

San Jose Strip Clubs: Restaurants rising: Up in arms over Tolbert’s noise law

Opponents of the ordinance suggest that the City already went too far when, in 2008, it created a citywide ban on over-75 decibel noise. By the following summer, several City Councilors were wringing their hands in frustration when they realized that they’d inadvertently banned African drumming on the Downtown Mall.
The problem for such places as the Corner— and particularly downtown Belmont, which has witnessed a renaissance in the past decade— is that some residents of the surrounding houses claim to have moved in before the hijinx began.
And what hijinx. On a letter bearing the names of 15 Belmontians, resident Kimber Hawkey recently sent city officials photographs of women at Bel Rio adorned only in panties and pasties.

So Charlottesville finally gets a strip club? Well, according to those who viewed the show, curvaceous females were evident, but the Christmas night performance— orchestrated by musician Christian Breeden— was built more on satire than titillation.

San Jose Strip Clubs: Sex Columnist: Naughty Gras

As we approached a particularly drunk group of men, wondering why such a congregation had formed, I looked up at the apartment’s windows only to see three pairs of boobs looking back down at me. One girl had her breasts out of her pulled down bra, her shirt bunched up near her neck. She simply sat with her boobs out as the guy sitting next to her on the windowsill jiggled them around and yelled to the audience to throw her beads. The second woman, a little more outgoing than the first, kept pulling up her shirt to expose her abnormally large breasts while yelling out a “woo” with each lift.
Finally, the third pair of sweater monkeys I had the “pleasure” of seeing belonged to a girl that seemed incredibly sure of herself. She had completely taken off her shirt and bra, apparently allowing for easier access and numerous showings to the awaiting crowd. Acting as a true stripper would, she would hold herself …

San Jose Strip Clubs: For Rent: One Lovely Soulard Loft With Stripper Pole

For Rent: One Lovely Soulard Loft With Stripper Pole

Unreal was stunned. An apartment with its own stripper pole? And off-street parking? In Soulard? It seemed too good to be true. So we e-mailed landlord Troy Roberts, who had posted the ad.

Had a tennant [sic] who asked if he could do a few things to the place — and this is sort of what morphed out. Its a nice, big, great location without the extras.  Put the platform similar/same wood to the floor with the pole, mirrors around, lights the whole nine yards. Place also decked out with great lighting sconces and spot track lights, granite counter top glass block bar and walk out deck on the upper level. But the stripper pole, DEFINITELY the focal point and the extras compliment it nicely.

San Jose Escorts: Local matchmaker warns of Internet dating scams

While most negative Internet dating stories involve nothing worse than some missing hair or extra weight, one woman signed up with Shattil two weeks ago after she met her online date at a San Francisco restaurant for a drink — and his wife showed up. Apparently, it was a coincidence. Another woman told Shattil she met a man online and dated him for several months before he stole her jewelry while she was in the shower.
“We do background checks, we do check out driver’s licenses,” Shattil said.
Most of the online cases the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office receives involve prostitution rings, Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said. But Wagstaffe recalled a case from a couple of years back in which a Southern California woman spent the weekend in Redwood City with a man she met online and

San Jose Escorts: Freedom blood waters – betrayed

THE adage – Their Blood Waters Our Freedom – and many other liberation struggle songs and slogans, boasting how every Namibian will equitably reap the riches of the country’s natural resources ranging from diamonds, copper and uranium were but just some of the ideals our liberation heroes sacrificed their lives for.
They would most certainly be turning in their graves if they knew that their erstwhile comrades have betrayed them because of greed, the vice of materialism triumphing over national interests and sheer imprudence.
The souls of some of the living generation of the liberation era entrusted with our natural resources have become prostitutes to bribery leading to the sell-off of our uranium resources to multinational companies which concurred with the oppressive apartheid philosophy.
The middle-men or bribers are young envious local scoundrels and foreign conduits who have not experienced the wrath of colonial domination but found the wickedness of some of our political leadership to exploit for self-gain.

San Jose Adult Entertainment: Alameda County’s crackdown on human traffickers gets tougher

Craven was 20, a cocky street pimp who picked up girls on the streets of Oakland and put them to work having sex with men, police said. Ashley was a 54-year-old father and husband who had worked as a pimp for 20 years in his younger years, spent four years homeless and then turned to religion for redemption and direction.
The men were meeting in East Oakland because of a girl, a 17-year-old whom Ashley recently had met after she smiled and waved at him, trying to get his attention, when he drove by her at an Oakland bus stop. At first glance, he thought she was a young woman from his church.
“Then she asked me, ‘What are you doing?’ Then I knew,” he said. “I called her over and asked her if she believed in God.”
The two prayed together at the bus stop, and the minister passed his cell phone number to her. If she wanted to change her life, get out of prostitution, he was there to help.

San Jose Strip Clubs: Theo Fleury on Blackhawk Days: "I Was Trying to Kill Myself"

Drug dealers, strippers, the homeless — these were who Fleury surrounded himself with after games.  These were the people he related most to.
“I was never afraid of anything.”
Except the dark.
“I was afraid of the dark, still to this day I have trouble.”
Fleury’s erratic downward spiraling behavior fit the crime he says.  Not his crime, but rather that of his Junior Hockey Coach Graham James.  Fleury says James sexually abused him for two years beginning at the age of 14.

A drunken brawl at a strip club in Columbus Ohio was the end of his playing days in Chicago and the National Hockey League altogether.  Another night after partying all night, he held a gun to his head and was ready to pull the trigger.  But didn’t.
