San Jose Adult Entertainment: High-profile Inmates of Sex and Violence Make Their Way through Dublin,CA’s …

All-America City Dublin, CA has had a long relationship with federal and county agencies over the years. Dublin hosted a U.S. Naval hospital during World War II and more recently Camp Parks, which serves as a base for the U.S. Army. Adjacent to the Camp Parks base is the Alameda County Santa Rita Jail, which was built on top of a former World War II training base in 1947. Alameda County will also be completing a full service courthouse within Dublin’s borders by Summer 2014. As a result of these strong ties to the legal system, Dublin often makes national news because it hosts a federal correctional institute that has been graced by many infamous women and men over the years.
Dublin played host to former Hollywood madame Heidi Fleiss, who grabbed headlines in the 1990s after she was arrested for running a high-priced prostitution ring serving Hollywood’s rich and famous, such as Winner and former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen.

San Jose Adult Entertainment: Some Critics Say San Jose Turning Into Sin City

SAN JOSE — It’s known as the law of unintended consequences; critics say a crackdown on gangs in San Jose has allowed other crimes such as prostitution, gambling and drugs to flourish, turning it into a sin city.

Police admit there are more prostitutes now walking the streets of the South Bay metropolis.

Police have arrested 38 prostitutes in the last two months, including three teenagers

“One can only figure that is going to be a ripe area for gambling, loansharking, prostitution, narcotics sales,” said Beattie.

“Some things are of low priority, it doesn’t mean we won’t attend to them, but it means we won’t have special units to focus on certain type of crimes like prostitution,” Reed said.

Reed is hoping for a federal grant to rehire some officers. People in one prostitute-plagued neighborhood say they may take matters into their own hands.

San Jose Adult Entertainment: 2 fires reported at scene of SJ homicide

Neighbors on Whitton Avenue say they saw trouble brewing. Squatters had taken over the house. They called police repeatedly.
“You call police and make complaints, but they don’t really do much, they came here and kicked them out; as soon as they left, they came back again,” neighbor Gerardo Lomeli said.
San Jose police are well aware of the house. They’ve responded at least 10 times in the past two months, making arrests for weapons possession, people in possession of or under the influence of illegal drugs, prostitution, theft of utility services and receiving stolen property.
Officers responded again Monday when ABC7 found people trying to break into the burned out garage apartment where the body was found. The incident prompted police to put up crime scene tape to keep people away.
A neighbor said prostitution activity was blatant.

San Jose Adult Entertainment: Chief Moore: No Gang Murders All Summer–Credit Metro Gang Unit

… “First of all is to repurpose our Metro Unit to do nothing but all gangs all the time and identify those hot spots were we’re going to identify shot callers.  Make sure they got stopped and when appropriate were arrested and put back in prison.  We think that had a major impact, we had over 300 arrests, gang related, and I think that was significant.”
That change is going to continue.
“What we’re going to do is continue the same efforts we had with our Metro Unit certainly  through the foreseeable future.   What that does mean is there are other  work we’re probably not going to be doing.  You will see some of that and the homeless enforcement clean up in creeks and the prostitution at the street level.  We’re not going to be able to focus on.  What we think is useful: We’re going to continue with our gang enforcement into the foreseeable future.”

San Jose Massage Parlors: Cops Bust Massage Parlors

The Millbrae Police Department shut down two massage parlors after sending in undercover officers to solicit sex.
Life Reflection on 106 Park Pl. and Acupressure Help Center on 119 Park Blvd. closed their doors in early August. Officers began investigating after receiving complaints from residents on the frequency of men patronizing the businesses, according to MPD Commander Mark Raffaelli.
“We had an individual tell us that a lady started fondling him when she was giving him a massage,” Raffaelli said. “And when we sent in officers, sexual advanced were made on them.”
He said the department received prostitution complaints at both establishments, however officers were offered sex at only one parlor, Acupressure Help Center, while the other was shut because of an expired license and lack of proper business permits.
Life Reflection is a foot massage parlor, and legally is only allowed to work on hands, feet and head. But, Raffaelli said, the officers were offered full-body massage, albeit nonsexual.

Only Top Flight (1932), Shuvee (1969), Mom’s Command (1985), Open Mind (1989) and Sky Beauty (1993) – all Hall of Famers – accomplished it.
Besides her hatred of having water poured on her head, It’s Tricky has to be escorted to the track by stable pony, Shorty. And good luck trying to catch her in her stall before a race.
“She throws little fits and like the other day, she dropped the rider after the race, that’s her,” McLaughlin said. “You just have to be careful with her. We couldn’t catch her that morning.”
The morning of the Oaks, McLaughlin said it took his stable crew 45 minutes of playing catch-me-if-you-can before they could get the lead shank on the fickle filly.
Once that’s accomplished, Shorty gets involved in the act.
“She needs an escort service,” Kiaran McLaughlin says of the fickle filly. “Otherwise, she wouldn’t go. The pony goes with her everywhere.”
