    STANFORD — A Stanford law student who doubled as a high-priced call girl will spend the next year under house arrest.
    34-year-old Christina Warthen also agreed to pay the government $243,000 in back taxes she owed while working as a prostitute.
    Prosecutors pushed for a heavier sentence, saying Warthen is currently advertising herself as a call girl online, asking clients $2,000 a night for “companionship.”
    Warthen was formerly married to the co-founder of Ask.com.
    She made headlines after she publicly bragged that she worked as a jet-setting prostitute to pay for her Stanford education.
