San Jose Escorts: Intoxicated at the Hospital

Thursday, October 22: at 1:25 a.m. deputies arrested a 36-year-old man from San Francisco with a suspended license. He was the passenger in a vehicle stopped at the corner of Redwood Road and Vegas Avenue in Castro Valley. Deputies said they originally stopped the car for a burnt out headlamp but handcuffed the passenger after he lied about his identity. He was taken to Santa Rita jail.
Prostitution Sting
Wednesday, October 21: at 4:00 p.m., sheriff’s deputies helped arrest 10 women and two men in connection with a prostitution ring operating at a motel near the West entrance to Castro Valley Boulevard. The women whose ages ranged between 19 and 29 were charged with varying degrees of solicitation while the two men were charged with coordinating the meetings. The women came from various cities including San Francisco, Vallejo, Richmond, Oakland, and Modesto. Deputies said the ring was broken up after one of the suspects approached and an undercover officer with intent to solicit sex for pay. All 12 suspects were taken to Santa Rita jail for processing.
